FWDB Local Plan
Get Involved: Help Shape the FWDB Local Plan (2025–2028)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) requires both local and regional workforce planning, as does the State of California. The Foothill Workforce Development Board (FWDB) is currently developing its 2025–2028 Local Plan, and we want your voice to be part of the process!
Your Input Matters
FWDB is inviting community members, local service providers, employers, and other stakeholders to share feedback as we update our Two-Year Local Workforce Development Plan. Your participation is vital in ensuring the plan addresses the employment and job training needs of our community.
We Want to Hear From You
Your feedback will help guide how FWDB can:
• Respond effectively to employers’ staffing needs.
• Create strategies that improve employment outcomes for:
English language learners
Immigrants
Justice-involved individuals
People experiencing homelessness
Low-income families
• Strengthen partnerships with nonprofits and public agencies.
Public Review: Draft Local Plan
The Draft Local Plan will be available for public comment for 30 days. After the comment period, all feedback will be reviewed, summarized, and incorporated as appropriate.
Once finalized, the FWDB Local Plan (2025–2028) will be submitted to the California Workforce Development Board by June 15, 2025.
